Paddington Station

Network rail's award-winning work carried out in Phase One of improvements to Paddington station comprised a £65 million facelift to the original 1850s Brunel structure to provide an entirely new customer information system and the refurbishment of The Lawn (concourse) area to provide an additional 50,000 sq ft of retail, bar and restaurant facilities.

Due to the proposed scale and timing of Crossrail infrastructure proposals at Paddington Station Network Rail’s Phase Two plans, the development of span four and Red Star deck structures, have been postponed.
