The Partnership

Paddington Waterside Partnership was launched, as Paddington Regeneration Partnership in 1998 to facilitate the creation of a new location at Paddington. The development was designated the Paddington Special Policy Area by Westminster City Council with the Partnership acting as a means to bring together different developers and drive the creation of London's newest commercial, residential, leisure, retail and health quarter. Paddington Waterside is a unique, large-scale, mixed use development in that it involves 13 separate schemes each with different land ownership and varied funding sources.

The creation of Paddington Waterside in physical terms is well underway with Phase 1 at Paddington Basin and PaddingtonCentral complete, over 1,000m of new towpath and five new bridges creating access to this historic waterspace for the first time in over 200 years. More than 30 new companies and 7,000 employees now call Paddington Waterside their home.
